Hey! I’m glad you found me…I’ve got an updated site, so check it out!

Last Saturday, I checked weather.com every half hour, seeing if the impending thunder storms and rainy weather would turn into a reality. I had been planning a “photo walk” for the youth group girls for quite some time, and I was so sad to see that the weather might not cooperate. But, I decided that since photographers have to be adventurous and go with the flow, we should put that into practice and just go for it! And by the end of the evening, I was still saying, “What thunderstorms?”
Anyway, here’s a little “Welcome to St. Peter’s Village.” Enjoy!

You’ve heard of the sidewalk ending…well, this is where the train tracks end.

I am excited to announce that September is my “Grand Opening Month.” To kick things off, if you’re one of my first 3 full sessions booked for the month of September, you’ll get a free 8″x10″ laminated canvas print on a stretch frame from any photo from your session–worth over $100! September brings some beautiful weather for outdoor photos and is a great time to get those senior portraits done in time for the yearbook, or to get a head start on family photos for Christmas gifts this year. Contact me to book now!

My second announcement is that I (finally) have a Facebook page! Just search for Naomi Figueroa Photography on Facebook and click “Become a Fan.”

Also, a mini announcement–be sure to check out my updated Portfolio page!

My last exciting announcement is that we got a puppy! Her name is Sabana (Spanish pronunciation)…named for a little town in the Dominican Republic that Rich and I have traveled to with Food for the Hungry several times, Sabana Cruz. She will be the subject of many shots, I’m sure.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

Last Saturday I had so much fun hanging out with my friend Joanna for her daughter’s big 3rd birthday party! She asked me to take some pictures of the festivities, so I stayed busy trying to catch Theresa in action! One thing is for sure, she doesn’t stay still for very long.

Hope you enjoy these few shots….leave some love (in the form of a comment)!

She looks so lost….maybe she just wanted cake? I don’t blame her!

Hmm…now Mom needs to keep this picture around until Theresa’s a teenager. Never forget that Mommy knows everything!

Lauren

My good friend Lauren is always a willing model for me as I practice with posing, lighting, and anything else I want to work on. She’s so natural in front of the camera that I hardly have to direct her! Check out some of my favorites from our latest photo shoot…

On Saturday I had the chance to witness two good friends beginning a new part of their journey together. They asked me to take some “getting ready” shots in the morning…and of course I kept shooting all day long! The weather was supposed to be really nice, according to Mr. Weatherman, but in the morning as we drove to Lancaster, it looked a little iffy…But about 15 minutes before the outdoor ceremony was supposed to start, the sun made its appearance and joined us for the rest of the afternoon. What was most beautiful was seeing these two amazing people make their vows to each other–I was honored to be among their guests.

Hope you enjoy the photographic memories!

What a GORGEOUS day here in PA! The sun woke me up around 6:30 AM, and it was already pretty high in the sky…but I got out of the house, inspired by the still long shadows and warm morning light. These photos fall into two categories… “Abandoned” and “Nature, Interrupting” (a continual project of mine). I am totally fasicanted by abandoned buildings–I always wonder what they once were. At one time, I’m sure they were busy, full of life, and clean. What’s the story that has brought them to this?
